BI eXport Excellence enables you to export SAP BW 3.5 or 7.0 Web Templates to Adobe PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for printing, presentations and executive summaries.
The solution provides you with powerful and flexible, yet easy-to-use functions, which can be quickly integrated in any Web Application. It supports all SAP BW Web Items (e.g. tables, filters, charts and maps), but of course also the BI Visual eXcellence Items.
You can export an exact match of the Web Application as displayed in your browser – including layout, custom HTML and images (WYSIWYG). You can also create a fully-formatted output by using templates that you designed according to your needs. Being fully integrated into SAP BI Broadcasting, IBS BI Export also supports automatic distribution of exports.
If you want to refresh exported documents directly from MS Office, you can benefit from our tight integration with BI Office eXcellence, the BI add-on to Microsoft Office!

Most users of a BI system – controllers, analysts, or the occasional information consumer – like to have printed pages of their current Web Report. Unfortunately, the SAP BW standard print-out does not meet this requirement.
BI Export eXcellence offers a solution to this pain-point by creating a perfect copy of the Web Application in its current layout and navigation state. If necessary, certain areas of the Web Application can be marked not to appear in the resulting PDF document. Page-breaks can be included if the Web Template is too big for a one-page printout.
Of course you can also cutomize page headers and footers, define page borders, orientation, size etc.

With Word Export eXcellence you can upload Word Documents as templates for your exports - fully-formatted including all texts, images and a table of contents, as well as placeholders at those places where you want to include data from a Web Application. The Export function will replace the placeholders with the data from the SAP BW Web Items. Table views are even included as editable tables, including exceptions!

PowerPoint Export eXcellence allows you to export charts and tables of an SAP BW Web Application to Microsoft PowerPoint. Very similar to the Word Export, you can upload PowerPoint Presentations as fully-formatted templates. In these templates you can define the corporate presentation layout and include texts and placeholders for Web Items that shall be exported. The placeholders are replaced when running the export function.
In combination with PDF Export eXcellence, you can create print-outs with pixel-precise layouts. In contrast to the “exact match”-print-outs that the PDF Export usually creates, this feature allows you to generate fully-formatted print-outs, on which charts, tables and other Web Items of the SAP BW Web Template can be positioned just in the way you want them to appear!
